Anne-Marie is a Clinical Research Fellow at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London and an honorary Nurse consultant at Imperial College Healthcare Trust. Her primary research developed a 12 item patient-reported outcome measure for patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF-PRoM ©2016) employing patient centred methodology. The IPF-PRoM is undergoing validation in UK, Eire and Europe in IPF populations.

Anne-Marie’s other research is in the development of an IPF patient-reported experience measure (IPF-PREM) in collaboration with the Imperial College Health Care Trust. She also collaborates on projects exploring the impact of singing techniques and mindfulness for breathing management in patients with IPF.

Anne-Marie represents interstitial lung disease (ILD) nursing interests as the programme chair elect at the ATS nursing assembly. Anne-Marie is the chair of the ILD interdisciplinary network; secretary to ERS Assembly 9.4 and a committee member of the European Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis & Related Disorders Federation. She is the author/co-author of numerous peer-reviewed publications on ILD and works collaboratively across the international ILD community.
